In principle, yes. In practice, naaaa--a number is a number and can be applied to anything... but a noun has limited definitions. They're not the same. Porsche, however, have demonstrated their complete disregard for this by producing over 911 versions of what appears to be the same f#cking car... with the same f#cking numeric designation... but at least a modicum of consistency to the "Turbo" models... oh, no, they blew (pun intended) that, too. Those Germans are clever aren't they!

That said, I'm obviously joking above but I also find the model designation a bit jarring to be honest.
