What software have you used on your Mac?

And what cable connection is required on your mac, to connect to the car?

The coding is via the OBD port. The cable has an RJ45 jack on the other end (in E series it was USB) this then creates a network connection to your car. VMware Fusion can be used on the Mac. I keep a Windows laptop for coding and a few specific apps that are a lot better if run natively on a PC.

My first coding was for safety reasons (ability to receive all FM frequencies in EU tunnels), since then it has been for the fun of having the car do a few things that the techs at my local BMW shop dreamt of but do not know how to do (or are not allowed to).
