TY...they did, although the one pictured is representative, but not the one they made. (I'm not in D.C. right now.) They did as nice a job, however...of course, they kinda had to because they whole reason they did it was as penance/punishment. I doubt they'd have done it otherwise...more likely is that they'd have just bought one for me if they'd have wanted to give me one.
FWIW, they used power tools, not saws and chisels.
They were all in their teens at the time and I suspected it might be the last opportunity I'd get to co-opt them into doing something like that, so I made sure to get something good out of it.
