I don't know the answer, but my RF 436 hit a major hole on the interstate at ~60 MPH, and I expected it or the tire to immediately exhibit some sign of distress. That didn't happen, so I continued on for another 65 miles.
I removed and examined the wheel and tire when I got to my destination, and there was no sign of damage to either one. That surprised me, as it was the hardest I'd ever hit the far edge of a pothole in any car.
Considering the condition of so many roads and highways today, I'd say the 436 is a wheel built well enough to give its owners at least a decent amount of confidence that they'll hold up to what's out there.
