You're kidding right? From the folks that tried to charge for heated seats you think this compliance will be free. Think about the cost to BMW for all the calls from customers about their disabled car? Think lawyers will not be involved when some car shuts down on the wrong side of the tracks?

News Flash: For the first three years, ConnectedDrive is included with every new or relatively new BMW; after that, owners must pay a yearly fee for the service. So who pays after that, Send the bill to the government?
