I do not think those Neanderthals living under a rock exist anymore. Everyone now knows of the repair costs associated with the brand, much less M models. This is not a secret anymore.

This has been said of the German cars since before I could drive, and yet folks buy then used all the time and keep them for 20-plus years at times.
I owned a 10-year-old E55 and it was not any crazier than the caddy in our house. They broke at the same rate, the MB costs more to fix, but also never lost an engine (lost two engines in two separate high mileage caddies). So with the reliability of the newer Ms (like the F90), used versions should be quite desirable imho.
