Luxury cars are very much the norm where I live. Most main line German cars are somewhat pedestrian. Also a lot of Range Rovers and Teslas. It’s Italian cars, McLarens, Bentleys and Rolls Royces, and hypercars that get the majority of the attention. I very rarely get a-holes — in fact I can’t remember the last time I encountered one based solely on driving an M5. It’s generally thumbs up, compliments, “beautiful car” and the like. Also, lots of drivers with comparably performing cars generally just want to play a bit. I always oblige with those drivers.
