I DIY as much as I can. Currently wrestling with 'restrain system failure' which is intermittent and likely the sensor in the passenger seat. Another quality car component from the Ultimate Driving Machine company.

I have fully functional ISTA on my laptop and plenty of tools. I did the items in the "run in service" myself. I changing the fluid in my transmission this spring along with the brake fluid. Life time Transmission fluid my ASS. Lifetime of your warranty maybe, but not the actual car.

Sorry to hear about your bad experiences. ZF also agrees that "lifetime" fluid has a "lifetime". I am intimidated by the run up temperature requirements for change however.

I wanna do the front diff, and have the instructions, but haven't done it yet (my CS is only one year old and doesn't really have all that many miles -yet).
