I have done conversion. Works fantastically in comparison to my regular 18 pre-LCI. Much more compliant better bump absorption and generally softer in comfort mode and I'd even say slightly stiffer in sport plus. I did not do module programming. It is plug and play. Had to be since if you compare m8 competition and LCI M5 part numbers for connectors with pre LCI they are identical. I am very happy with result. Works great on our crappy Illinois roads.
