It's not hard but you do need to know what you're doing a bit to get the best results and not end up making things worse.

I started around 5 years ago got a DAS Pro DA with some Menzerna polishes and yellow/white/grey pads, you have to prep the car and strip back whatever is on there first, then work in small areas making sure you work the compound enough but not too much, work in light or lighting so that you can actually see what you're doing to the surface.

Chose the right pad and polish (best to start light and go heavier if needed) and don't whatever you do make the mistake of using a pad with dried on polish on it the next day! I did and swirled the entire car
