They are comparing the car with standard M CCBs to a standard M5C with steel brakes and the brakes itself are lighter by 51 lbs.
The M3 bucket seat saves 5 kg (11 lbs) compared to the standard M3 sports seats, according to this video (2 minute mark). I'd imagine it would be at least a few more pounds since the M5 seats are more customizable and have more features, so maybe 15 lbs. That makes it 30 lbs for the front seats.

I believe there is more to it than that. The 798M wheels also likely play a role. According to the press release, the true weight savings items are in the front and rear seats, CF hood, lightweight center console and reduced sound deadening that are exclusive to the CS, then weight is added back with front splitter and rear Gurney flap, this hardly accounts for 230lb. All the rest can be specced on a M5competition. It almost seems like they are comparing it to the heaviest spec possible M5. AM&S/SA weighed their supertest M5 at 4,193lb. I seriously doubt the M5cs will be below 4,000lb. It's interesting how they remain elusive about the actual weight of the M5cs...
