I found myself buying a new car every 3 years as I commute 100mi round trip work (DC area and live in the burbs). I bought a PHEV to take advantage of the HOV lanes exemption so went shopping for a higher end pleasure car. Leasing just made more sense given I'll look forward to a new car in two years. BMW has great lease incentives too. Only downside is I live in MD where the all the taxes are paid up front.
