After 4 1/2 weeks, I got my car back with the replaced engine block/turbos etc. After having the car for 4 days, it stumbled and shut off on me (3) times. I brought it to the dealer and they said they could not see any fault codes. Have had the vehicle for 5 days and it has now shut off on me (2) more times - rough idle, makes a sputtering noise when you press the gas after a cold start - fun times! BMW NA called me yesterday and offered me a reimbursement of (1) month's car payment but I would need to "sign a release" to which I politely declined and told them I already hired an attorney to lemon law the vehicle.
This has all been so disappointing to say the least as all I want to do is enjoy owning an M5.

Sad you have to hire an attorney. Bmw should want this car back. This thread alone will probably cost them more in the long run then just making things right with you.
Took 16 trips to service for GM to take my Escalade back. Sad these guys don’t have more pride in what they are selling especially at a six figure number.
