Well here is a interesting warranty issue with BMW motorcycles. BMW can refuse warranty work for lack of use (low mileage). Here is how it is written: "Extreme lack of use (100 miles or less per month on average)".
If you do not ride at least 100 miles a month, BMW can refuse warranty work. I own a 2018 BMW R1200GSA and while it presently does not apply, I am currently around 100 miles a month. Interesting to say the least.
