Damaged Front M Sport Bumper Cover Options

So I pulled too far forward over a parking curb, which is no problem because my 340i is at the perfect high to just clear the curb itself. This curb in particular had the two rebarb poles that hold it in place standing out farther than usual.

As a result when I backed out of the spot the rebarb caught the bottom of my bumper cover and ripped it off some.

On the driver side theres a clear 10mm gap between the bumper cover and the fender. The bumper cover also has some slight play on the driver side as well.

The BMW dealership I bought the car from says I need a new bumper to the tune of $3k. Considering the only visible damage is the minor gap I'd rather try to fix this bumper if possible. Can anyone tell me if I might have a chance of re-aligning the bumper as is?
