This is what BmW gets for cheapening the M brand. Shame! If you're going to have critical transmission failure issues it may as well be on a motorsport focused transmission.

It's wire routing causing rubbing and a short circuit, nothing to do with the transmission itself. Just their poor choice of wire harness insulation and path. |
Its just the hyrdraulic pump nothing wrong with the transmission itself.
