RE-71Rs are certainly one of the best - for track use. They are not a good tire to live with for DD. They are very very noisy, lumpy, pick up rocks, etc. The 4S is an awesome tire, just doesn't have the dry grip of the RE-71R, great tire for DD, and track driving as well. There are a number of decent street tires in the 4S category.
