Have to say though that I think that color was a huge fad back in the 70s, especially in kitchens. I think they called "avocado".

It's not really close to the avocado of the 70's. Hard to describe it, and I have seen it up close, outside and in a variety of lighting. It brings to mind a swamp, a noxious and odorous swamp. Avocado is a healthy green. This is the green of Frankenstein's monster.
