Technically, yes. In reality, on the same fuel, same traction, no issues in either car, etc. , you would expect their ET time at the drag strip to be the same, but the Comp package 1 mph faster. That’s what we generally see by extending the power 20-25hp at the last 1000 or so rpm at the strip. HP area under the curve accelerates the car. If that 20-25 had been from 3000 to 7000......it would have added torque.....and the ET difference would have been interesting. |
