To be most accurate you should look at 2006 Cadi ranking because that would be between E46 M3 and Z4MC like DMboone was saying.

And that 1st generation CTS might have been the worst car ever made - which is something you remember. That's all I am saying - there's no reason to give them a chance when you've had 0 issues from the German side in almost 20 years.
I think the CTS was a 2004 model IIRC...and it was literally in the ship for more than 10 different issues in less than 3 years. It also was not remotely close to the driving dynamics my pops was used to...hence why he left and never went back.
The new ones might be better, but I am not going to be part of their ongoing QC project.
