No. Just as a kid I wanted a pony and my Mom wouldnt buy me one so I settled for riding lessons 3 times a week at a local stable until she FINALLY bought me my first horse in 1999 for my birthday. (Blackie, still own her to this day) She thought it was some phase "Every kid wants a pony." Boy was she wrong.
There's just something about horses that's good for your soul that you dont get from dogs or cats. Maybe that's why they use them in prisons to rehabilitate prisoners. Horses are simply amazing majestic creatures. I know I'm flooding this thread but I dont care.
This is one of my favorites. I was standing by the lake talking to my Blackie. Notice how she doesnt stand infront or behind, but right beside me. Best companion I could ever ask for. She was 8 when my Mom bought her, she's now 23. Lord help me when the day comes that she's no longer with me.
