I thought so as well but have to say that seeing them in the flesh in the two tone version on my car they look quite nice.

I noticed that recent BMWs look far better in the flesh than in images.

Really loving the Snapper Rocks Blue. Brings out the lines and character quite well. Black and white hides those lines pretty much.

Sort of agree My dealer has a Donington grey one on their lot and the 20 wheels look nice to me only at certain angles. It never 100% catches and reels me in. If/when I get the new M (at current lease end), I'll figure out a way to swap the stock 20 out. Hoping the competition package has different look. Sorry to beat this to death.

gap on lower fender

i notice that two of those have a big hole in the lower fender in the middle and the other one does not. i'm assuming that's to deal with some option package, anyone know which one? i think it looks weird with that hole there, the blue m5 without it looks so much better.

We paint the chrome edge of the factory roundel in either gloss black, matte black or black chrome.

I can't believe this is actually a thing! Curious on price and how they are done?

Part of me likes it, part of me thinks it's sacrilege to touch an emblem.

Saw this on an older euro e9x. Has something to do with forward camera/vision/radar or auto cruise control maybe? Something to do with that I believe.

We tend to agree however we only paint the chrome surround of the roundel. The rest stays untouched.
