I'm sorry but if active sound is such a big deal to you, code it off yourself, it's simple.

All-Black wheels as an option, nice!

I hope BWW offers All-Black wheels as an easy (check-a-box) option with the future M2/M3/M4s and all their SAVs as well for that matter.

The percentage of people who make a build on here and go to the dealer to purchase is zero to none

Yes it is, I like the Donni gray! Here's how I'd build her...

It's a beautiful color. Silver/gray with more of a gold look to it makes it look like a lighter space gray with even more depth.

Online builders are usually terrible at rendering color accurately.

Finally they are up. With regards to the black wheels... my personal opinion is if you can't black out the exhaust, it will look a bit strange.

I'm thinking of just going with the stock 19's and then buying aftermarket wheels since I hate the options so much.

I'm still deciding between MBB or Donington Gray.

Gas Guzzler Tax at 21 MPG

So apparently a car is now a gas guzzler if it gets less than 22.5 mpg combined lol.

Do you guys only pay the 'gas guzzler' tax just once?

In the UK, we have road tax that we have to pay every year! (for my 2015 M5, I'm paying £500 each year ($677) - and first year tax for an F10 M5 is £2000 ($2710)). They don't call it a gas guzzler tax, but it is based on how much CO2 the car produces. Its absolutely extortionate in my opinion.

I'd much rather just pay $1000 once and pretend to hang my head in shame about having a 'gas guzzler' lol

I'm from the U.K. but live in the US. GG tax is paid once, added to the total cost. Not sure if all states work the same but I assume they do... here we pay yearly property tax based on the value of our cars which extends the license plate for a year. That's how it works in Kansas anyway. Just paid around $350 for renewal on my 2010 M3.

Oh okay, so although its not called Road Tax, you do have an annual tax to pay for your car. Interesting.

Right? Why does BMW make it so impossible to get a red M car? Even on the sportier M2/3/4... Oddly enough, the X5M/X6M are the only M cars you can get in red.
