I think if you saw the car in person you might feel differently. It's very different looking from an M sport 5 series. Or even the M550i. Or maybe I'm just too much of an M fanboy. I think the m carbon difffuser is going to definitely help with this look since it’ll lower the center portion of the rear diffuser optically. Going to have to embrace the aggressive look of this two tone bumper so a larger center diffuser should help. That’s my plan anyway. Also, sure it will look better in person. Looks much better than the 550 sport model imo.

The black rear diffuser is cool. It marks the car as the top model M5. Folks will get used to it in no time, and you can expect future owners of standard M5s to black out their rear diffusers to look like the Comp model!

Fully agree. The dark silver or grey works for me, but not a fan of the launch color red.

Style 789, not sure if they are restricted to the Competition edition. Should be available as soon as you can place an order for the Comp Edition. There is a thread in the F90 orders forum with all the juicy details.
