Rear looks terrible. I'll take the wheels. That's it

They could have at least made some effort in making the M5 stand apart from a regular M Sport 5-series. Especially the rear.

I think if you saw the car in person you might feel differently. It's very different looking from an M sport 5 series. Or even the M550i. Or maybe I'm just too much of an M fanboy. I don't get how anyone who has ever liked a 5 series in the last 10 years can have an issue with how this new 5 looks. And this version is absolute drool material in person. But that's just me. :

Correct.

That rear bumper looks horrendous.

Only Black and Grey will look good considering.
Agreed..... I liked the CF Mirrors on the F10 Comp better as well.

I've ordered an M5 Comp so will see what to do with this rear.
You can put those cf mirror covers on anything. They were not an F10 CP part.

Agreed, did just that on both of my F10 M5's.

I was stating that I would have preferred the F90 M5 Comp come w/ CF mirror caps versus the gloss black.

This is my current car. Exact same. Just Black Dakota. When I saw the F90 in person I felt like my car was a wifey's ride. Just sayin. Not even gonna talk about the driving experience. The 550 feels like a cotton ball in comparison. And also slow.

So your only way to avoid that hideous rear bumper with a comp package is order an individual color a have the standard bumper installed.

yeah... that's the point. no one buys an M to be the sexiest car. they buy an M so that when the mclaren revs their tiny penis next to you, you just laugh and watch said tiny penis blame it on the ice cold water

I've seen plenty here in town. I don't have a problem with the front, but the rear looks the same as a regular 5-series to me. It doesn't look fat enough to be an M. Just my opinion.

I dunno man to me the M5 is never fat looking. Always a subtle M. Very understated. I think that's the intention. I like it that way myself. Don't want a racey looking midsize luxury saloon. Performance or not. That's why I don't go for AMGs.

I felt like the previous M5s came across as a bit fatter, just like the M3s/M4s do. Liked that. The new M5 looks a bit skinny in the back.

In regards to the AMGs, man, would love one of those E63 estates.

For me...a car needs to speak to me physically and emotionally. This M5 does neither. It looks like a regular 5 series, a bit boring for me. I want hips, fenders, presence....and it lacks it. Just my opinion
