Colors, colors, colors...
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Because of the poor color selection I'm leaning toward a purely individual color ($5k option). I've been looking at the visualizer almost all day today but cannot decide. What color are you thinking? Visualizer: http://www.bmw.co.uk/en_GB/topics/di...isualiser.html |

I'm considering... Black Sapphire Metallic (same as my last two BMW's), Jubilee Silver (very cool color), Frozen White, Frozen Arctic Grey, or Frozen Dark Silver. I am scared I'd get tired of a Frozen paint though..

My Choices
I'm just waiting for when we are able to get our orders going in Canada
I'm thinking marina bay blue with Tartufo and dark carbon trim and the bicolour wheels. Sport exhaust. I'm leaning towards the marina bay blue but still mulling over the donnington..... What do you prefer?

I am actually waiting to make that exact decision. I go back and forth between donington gray and MBB. Weirdly enough I will go marina bay blue IF they allow for blacked out exhaust, trim and moldings along with a carbon spoiler. Then I can go for the all black wheels which would be striking against the blue. Oddly enough I like the donington gray if I go for the bicolor and leave all the other external fittings in their chrome/gray form. What interior color would you get in those? If I go with MBB I will do black. I am leaning towards black for donington gray, but that video of the donington gray with tartufo interior is making me reconsider. |

I have to say I'm pretty excited about Frozen Dark Red (launch edition color). It think it would be even better with a silver grille and silver wheels.
I wonder if launch edition cars will get discounted given the lack of excitement by most buyers about the Dark red color?

The 911 can't carry much. For me there are times I need back seats, there are times I am stocking up at Costco and need luggage space, or am buying a large object. A sedan or SUV is useful for those purposes. However if you also have a sedan or an suv and just need a fun daily driver, then a 911 Turbo is a great car. It's drives well, it can be driven in any conditions, it is comfortable. I find ride quality and comfort to be quite acceptable for daily use. As a performance car though I think the 911 Turbo S is the best car you can buy short of a $300k+ exotic. It's an amazing machine.
