Yes, if you are ordering a car that is ultimately to be delivered in the US, then you are constrained by the US order guide.

Still not sure how I feel about the Display Key. It seems more gimmicky to me.

I'm fine without the Display Key, since it looks huge and I don't know if I would ever use it vs the iphone app. The thing I'm most disappointed by is that the US customers do not get the M seatbelts. That was a very cool touch that should have been included in all regions.

I am ordering a 2019 M5 (US) and also am annoyed that the display key/remote parking are not available. Where did you find out that it's an $1100 retrofit? My dealer is saying he can't do anything. Thanks!

Remote Parking is not available on F90 M5 , because it's have different transmission . That option is available only on with standart series cars, including M550i/d
Display Key is available in all EU and Canada models, for US it should be optional . Anyway there's a lot of options to retrofit it,except BMW dealer, and it will not VOID your's warranty |

No remote start in the US via the Connected app. I wish there was.

The display key is worthless. Doesn’t do anything the app won’t. Plus it is huge and a pain in the a$$ to carry around. Seriously...I’ve had cell phones in the past that were smaller than the display key.
