M5CS Owners Thread

BMW knows precisely how many CS's they've sold in the US. Why they aren't forthcoming with info about it when asked is anyone's guess. Maybe they don't want to feed the flipper/ADM situation with confirmation of scarcity? Based on what people are trying to flip the m4 CSL for (and I'm sure plenty will succeed) , there could be something to my theory.

400 were before the pandemic...my source at BMW told me less than 200. He said there are so many dealerships didn't even get the allocation and the high-volume dealerships only got 1-2 allocations.

I would guess no more than 250 since worldwide production ended at I believe about half of what was originally stated.

I think BMW has moved on from the M5CS and probably lost interest in digging up fun facts and figures. I thought the whole marketing campaign was pretty muted compared to the fanfare the CSL got as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations.

There was a person on the forum who would get detailed sale stats based on builds/configs - maybe he can chime in.

Lowest ADM I've seen is 30. Highest 60, so far.

for CS? My local (i say "my" as if i would ever buy a car from them Lol) sold 2 for 75 over..

There is white csl on ebay right now for 215.

I was fortunate. My dealer didn't charge over MSRP. Honestly, this is the first BMW that I actually paid MSRP for. All others have had nice discounts.

holy hell. i just went on AT, and there is a TON of CS's up for sale.

All around 160-185. One guy has two, (claims he is keeping one) asking 160. delivery miles.
