I think BMW have always made the best grey colours. Dolphin grey, space grey and, this.

Agreed. For the e39, the M5 and the 540i M Sport/M Tech were similar aesthetically except for some subtle, yet key differences. If you weren't an enthusiast, it might be hard to distinguish the two from a distance, but the performance difference is night and day.

It will be easy enough for anyone that buys one to modify it to look much more aggressive with the M Performance and aftermarket options.

The new price (not confirmed yet for Spain) might stretch my finance but I'll see when I get the quote from the leasing company... So far the quote they provided me for the E63s/RS6 are decent so M5 should also be ok...
In Belgium, price increase was moderate (~1,5%) and only the extra kit more than justies this. the US dollar and the British pound have a bad exchange rate for € and this is reflected in the price.

Also I found out from a member that in the UK the F90 is better spec'd than the the F10 when it was release so this would also justify some of the increase but I agree with you the exchange rate is probably the biggest factor here.

As a reference, the price has gone up by 8% in France and I would expect the same for Spain

By the way, the M5 configurator is now live in Belgium

Ehhh, it is okay I still like my F10 better. And I am sorry but those wheels are HIDEOUS. They should have stayed with the 343 style.

I need to see one in person to judge, but to me the front bumper just does not fit the car at all in these pictures. It looks like when someone takes an M4 bumper and slaps in on E92.

Maybe it's just the color.

I fell in love with Donnington Gray in the X5M. My dealer let me build their first M5 HEA car, and I chose Donnington Gray. Can't wait to see it in person!

May I ask how much you were quoted for the lease on E63?

I would consider monthly payment, incl VAT and insurance, at anything around 1-1.2% of the total purchase price of the car to be excellent.

Sure no problem
E63 (with a couple of options)
MSRP : 140,824€

Quote for 36 months : 1.966€ (excl. VAT)
Quote for 48 months : 1.682€ (excl. VAT)

Insurance 110€ per month (excl. VAT)

Since the quote is lower than expected and if I decide to go with the E63, I will probably get the “S” version BUT the M5 is on my radar

Not even the same bolt pattern, it's impossible, I've been informed it's been changed to 5x112 instead of 5x120.

This color looks great on the M5. For those who want their M5 to be classy, not flashy.

But as many people have already said, those wheels are ugly and don't seem to fit the car.

Wish they had offered this Don Grey for the F80. Would have been all over it!

I've never seen a car become that much better looking just by painting it a different color. Imho the matte red and even the Marina bay blue doesn't really work (at least in pics) but this Donington gray just makes the car, I think it looks amazing.

Classy, understated and the best. What an M5 should be.
