First Look at F90 M5 in Snapper Rocks Blue

Bmw makes these colors for the unique/bold drivers among us. I personally wasn’t a fan of sahkir, yas marina, or Austin yellow. But seeing those colors in person made me change my mind. Would I order one? Probably not. But I can appreciate the owners who dare to stand apart from the rest of us boring folk. I have seen snapper rocks blue on a 4GC in person and it looks great. I think the F90 M looks great in it. I saw the frozen fire red F90 M in person at the Frankfurt auto show and it doesn’t allow the car to pop in my op..

Its ok.... Not different enough... Bmw needs a new alloy wheel designer too..

Nothing distinguishes this car from the rest of the G30 range.

Colour is horrific but hey we are all different. I'd be after the last-gen M5 at this rate.

Wheels look like spiders legs, nasty.

Are you kidding? Different front bumper, rear diffuser, front fenders, hood, mirrors and CF roof.
The f10 M5 has the same roof and hood compared to the non-m f10.

When I saw the first oficial press release pics, I was like: " hum, not sure, I guess the F10 M5 gen. looks a bit better."
But now seeing more "real life photos", definitely this M5 F90 is a Killer in its looks!!!

I'd send this thing straight to a shop. New wheels, spacers, lower it, do something about those rear reflectors, black grill. Kind of sad that you have to make these changes for a car whose MSRP well above 6 figures.

sahajesh, I recommend you see when your local dealer is going to get the F90 in and take a look at one in person.

I was at my local dealer this morning looking all over the F90 and, whilst it is clearly based upon the G30, it is quite a bit different... Inside, the gear lever, steering wheel, start button, M1/2 buttons, full digital dash panel with M5 logo and M specific programming, not to mention the M seats. Externally, the 20" wheels, lowered suspension, wider front arches, different bumpers, quad exhaust, rear diffuser, carbon roof and M mirrors.

I feel that the differences between F90 and G30 are far more noticeable than between the F10 M Sport and F10 M5.

As for SRB, the colours on the car in the photos on this thread do not seem to look anything like it does in real life. I think it is one of those colours you will either love or hate. Last weekend, my dealer had 4 different cars in SRB (all 3 variants of the 4 series) and I can't say I'm a fan of the colour, it was far too green for me and my wife agreed when she saw one this morning after asking me what colours the M5 came in.

Love the color, contrasting with the raw beast it really is. Maybe a bit psychedelic or even chyzophrenic? A black M5 radiates testosteron, but this one likes cuddles.

Wheels have to go, really. I thought that it was my resistance to change, and that it would grow on me, but my aversion remains.

I think the general unimpressed reaction to the car has more to do with the color.

Can you imagine how pissed people would be if the next-gem M3/4 were equipped with some revised version of the S55? I mean, how lazy can these guys be?

Would look better with the CF roof.. not totally digging the wheels, either and those rear reflectors are terrible. The rear bumper would look much more cohesive with the reflectors in the F80 position, IMO.
