Odd that they don't have Moonstone as an option on the new M5... it's an absolutely gorgeous color on any car.

I like the new M5, I really do. But BMW needs to do FAR more to truly become competitive with the upper echelon of AMG models. |

I just cannot get myself to like any of the factory wheel offerings. They just look a little too much or too little on this car.
Then again I'm just playing around with the configurator and cannot afford a brand new M5 either. |

Love the car and I hope someday to grab one off lease. But to buy one new and have to pay up AGAIN to get the classic ///M red like Imola? Not going to do it - not on their flagship sedan.

Here's by build.
$130k isn't bad if you consider the level of performance and luxury. It's pretty much fully equipped except for Apple CarPlay, M Driver's Package and Rear Seat Entertainment. All of which are unnecessary and will be outdated technology before you know it. Tack on another $5,000 for individual paint (Laguna Seca Blue ) My only gripe is the lack of a manual transmission, however I understand the limitation and would have to drive the M5 Auto first. ... I might just wait another year or so for BMW to announce the Competition Package M5. They should have everything sorted out by then.

what faults? the apprent poor steering feel? nope. the only thing they fixed is the off the line traction. youre telling me that 60k is worth those times that you lose grip when your tires are worn out...i dont think so. and as for straight line performance a tune on f10 would solve it.

I am so thrilled to see M xDrive finally make an appearance on the M cars!!! And especially offering black rims hopefully at no extra charge.
I hope BWW offers All-Black wheels as an easy (check-a-box) option with the future M2/M3/M4s and all their M Sport models and M SAVs as well for that matter. All-Back wheels is my personal style, stealthy. I get that not everyone likes black wheels, I'm just not into bling. I am definitely not a fan of most of BMW stock rims that are metallic silver paint with a clearcoat that the magnetic break dust sticks to like glue especially in the cold weather. I'm tired of breaking my back and constantly have to use a chemical such as P21s Gel Wheel Cleaner which is the only one I can recommend. So thanks BMW for finally offering Black wheels and especially M xDrive! |

Where is the love for Bluestone? Googled 550's in Bluestone and it's amazing! Like a darker version of Porsche's Graphite Blue; it is blue in sunlight, silver-blue in moderate light and a rich, deep silver grey in lower light.
