Edit: Anybody else notice the range indicated on next to the fuel gauge? 115kms at a 1/4 tank? Seems rather terrible. ~460km total range = 285 miles. Did we ever get an answer as to the actual size of the gas tank in the new F90 M5? If this accurate at all, the F90 M5 has a shorter range than an E60 M5.
Or am I reading that number wrong? Is it really 775kms? |
Are not the range algorithms based on the previous miles driven. Maybe this car spent a lot of time idling or driving in stop starts or hauling ass. That could effect the range left. |
Idling decreases range. You're burning fuel with no distance traveled. The algorithm is based on recent patterns. I guarantee this car had to have a limited amount of fuel in the tank for the show, so the pattern established would not be impressive. The car, and Marina Bay Blue, however ARE impressive!!!
