Car currently has 11,900 miles on it and oil other service done was an oil change at 1 yr / 8,325 mile mark.
BMW covers the vehicle under warranty as long as it has no problems.

Then, you will hear from your dealer "we cannot take this repair under warranty given that the maintenance intervals were not respected".

I think I won't be the only one to advise you to abandon this vehicle and find another one.
